truly the best fireworks on the fourth of July came just past 12am as 4th of July officialy begun. My friend and I decided sit and watch the horizon when unconsciously I put on the Grateful Dead’s iconic Cornell 77 show. The unconscious part was without thinking I started the show with the song Lazy Lightning. Soon, enjoying the view and cosmic sounds of the dead, mother nature showed her cosmic nature and put on a show for us ring in the bells of freedom in our hearts. What you see here is a lightning bolt over the state of Connecticut from the small town Shoreham on the North Shore on Long Island. We both went to bed quite late this evening but it is one for the books. I’m grateful for the photo to help me cherish this special night. ⁣
