The Woosley fire that devastated Malibu and the surrounding towns quickly showed how paradise can become a place of devastation. However, the following spring was supported with a healthy rainfall just proved that life always comes back. Life always prevails even after the most intense heat and destruction, life has a way of returning in its glorious expression. This photo was taken in the Santa Monica Mountains looking to the Pacific Ocean and the City of Malibu. Just a few months earlier the mountains were completely brown and barren but clearly life does flourish even amid drought and fire.
