When the tide goes away and the sand drifts out to sea. We discover there is life beyond the surface. This life that is revealed and consists of shellfish and other little critters. When the tide rolls back in the the ocean covers this life and often brings the sand back to cover this other worldly landscape until it is once again revealed with the passing of time.
